Video Animation of Šutej’s Mobile Serigraphs

For a better understanding of Šutej’s concept of mobile serigraphy, in addition to the complementary photographs in the catalogue which depict individual compositional variations, the exhibition also features a video animation of three mobile serigraphs in motion – SM 2 (1968), Serigraph with Four Circles (1972) and Green Ball (1971/1972). The video animation in a straightforward manner acquaints an observer with the very essence of Šutej’s innovation phenomenon, i.e. the possibilities of multiplying visual presentation and representation composition mutation in mobile serigraphs.

The video animation was designed in 2018 for the needs of the Department of Prints and Drawings by Nikola Šiško / Artdizajn d.o.o.
